About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Auction Driver to join our team at ADESA, a leading provider of vehicle remarketing services. As an Auction Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our auctions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous attention to customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Sale Day Driving and Safety: Drive vehicles across the auction block, following all safety guidelines and procedures, and safely move, stage, and park vehicles in the correct lot area.
  • Incident Reporting: Immediately report to management any incidents, accidents, or maintenance needs, and ensure that company safety policies and procedures are followed at all times.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Practice and promote teamwork, set a good personal example of attitude and performance, and respond to and follow proper procedures on employee and customer accidents, injuries, and loss or damage to any property.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • License and Certification: Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to operate a vehicle with a standard transmission.
  • Physical Requirements: Constant balancing, stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motion.
