Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our team at OrthoAlaska LLC. As the chief accounting officer, you will be responsible for leading our accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.

Salary & Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and dental insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, 401(k) with employer match, profit sharing, paid time off, and an employee assistance program.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead Accounting Operations: Supervise and manage all aspects of accounting, including accounts payable, general ledger, purchasing, and payroll.
  • Ensure Financial Accuracy and Compliance: Review and approve financial reports, ensure timely completion of the accounting cycle, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Collaborate with Finance Team: Work closely with the CFO and other finance team members to prepare annual budgets, analyze variances, and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting: A degree in accounting or related field is required.
  • Minimum Three Years of Management Experience: Proven experience in accounting management, preferably in healthcare.
  • Excellent Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to train staff, and effective written and verbal communication.
