">Job Description
">Our team is seeking a compassionate and adaptable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team as a Traveling CNA. This opportunity allows you to travel locally by working in various GSS locations within a 150-mile radius from your home address, providing care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement.
">Your primary responsibility will be to provide assistance with basic health care needs, including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned residents.
">You will also assist residents with meals and snacks, provide water and supplements as appropriate, complete tasks related to food preparation and dining, and create a positive dining experience for the resident.
">Required Skills and Qualifications
">To be successful in this role, you must have a high school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required. You must also have a minimum age of 16, prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
">A valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing is required, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
