HarperCollins Christian Publishing is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mobile App Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our mobile apps for Bible Gateway and Jesus Calling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and improve existing codebases, ensuring high-quality and stable apps.
  • Implement new features and functionality as requested by internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with a project manager and contract developers to deliver features and releases.
  • Manage the submission process to Apple, Google, and Amazon app stores.
  • Release new app versions on a consistent cadence.
  • Work closely with designers to ensure a seamless user experience across all devices.
  • Follow QA processes and security requirements, using error-tracking systems to fix issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and stay up-to-date with technical developments in the field.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience with React Native.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and WebViews.
  • Experience with mobile platforms (Android and iOS) and project management tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a small team.

What We Offer

HarperCollins Christian Publishing offers a competitive salary range of $120,000-$145,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including physical health, retirement, and savings benefits, caregiving, emotional wellbeing, transportation, and other benefits.
