As a Charge Registered Nurse at Northwest Medical Center, you will play a critical role in providing excellent care to patients in a hospital setting. This position requires a strong leader who can direct the activities of licensed and non-licensed care givers and support staff in the delivery of patient care.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Evaluating assigned patients and planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care.
- Assisting physicians during examinations and procedures.
- Performing various patient tests and administering medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
- Promoting patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
