We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Golden Age Manor in Amery, WI. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks.

• Prepare and serve food in a safe and sanitary manner
• Assure meals are prepared and served on time
• Avoid waste of food supplies
• Keep self-neat and clean, and wear a hair net at all times
• Organize assignments and utilize time and materials properly
• Responsible for washing and sanitizing of soiled dishes or unloading dishes when clean
• Assist Head Cook or Second Cook when needed during working hours
• Report any equipment out of order or not working properly, and any injury, accident, or fire
• Practice proper portion control when dishing up desserts, nourishments, snacks, etc.
• Clean and sanitize work area after each use
• Work cooperatively with co-workers in the dietary department and other departments

• Some knowledge of dishwashing procedures, sanitation, and hygiene, and portion control (will train)
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to read and interpret documents, and write simple correspondence
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers, and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level is occasionally moderate.

We offer a competitive salary range of $14-$15+ depending on experience, and benefits included. No experience necessary - we will train the right candidate.
