About the RoleThis is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to perform various radiological procedures using ultrasound modalities. The successful candidate will work closely with physicians to coordinate exams and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality ultrasound diagnostic procedures as requested by physicians.
- Produce accurate and detailed images for diagnosis, utilizing independent judgment and initiative.
- Document test results and maintain hard copy images.
- Maintain ultrasound equipment, performing daily inspections and documenting needed repairs.
- Ensure patient records are accurately maintained in compliance with hospital policy and procedure.
- Order supplies and manage inventory to ensure seamless operations.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of an Ultrasound Training Program (preferred).
- A current license as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
- Ongoing OBGYN experience (preferred).
- Nuchal Translucency and Nasal Bone Imaging certification (may be required based on department).
