Role Summary

The Food & Beverage (F&B) Team plays a crucial role within our Guest Services division, ensuring that we offer an outstanding experience to our guests at every touchpoint. F&B Team members are tasked with maintaining a pristine environment, delivering top-notch customer service, and serving delicious meals and beverages. Whether it’s a hearty meal, a quick snack, or a refreshing drink, our F&B Team serves with enthusiasm and care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Embody the values of Smokiam RV Resort, contributing to extraordinary experiences for our guests while fulfilling your role's responsibilities.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service by being enthusiastic, attentive, and approachable.
  • Safely handle, store, and prepare food items according to established guidelines.
  • Prepare food items to specifications using various kitchen equipment, including grills, fryers, and coffee makers.
  • Promptly clean any food or liquid spills to maintain a safe environment.
  • Ensure thorough cleaning of all kitchen surfaces and cooking appliances at the end of your shift.
  • Maintain a neat appearance, adhering to team attire standards and wearing a name tag.
  • Greet every guest with a warm smile and a positive demeanor.

Qualifications

  • A genuine passion for customer service and the outdoors.
  • Basic experience in food preparation.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong customer service skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds regularly.
  • Capable of moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance.
  • Must be able to hear and communicate clearly.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 80% of the time).
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as needed.
