Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Henry Ford Health System. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing radiologic breast imaging procedures to evaluate pathological entities as ordered by a physician.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiologic breast imaging procedures, including mammography and ultrasound, to evaluate pathological entities as ordered by a physician.
  • Utilize independent judgment in determining appropriate radiographic techniques, positioning, and safety practices.
  • Work under the direction of a Radiologist to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging results.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of imaging procedures and results.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and the advanced registry in Mammography, ARRT (M) (or registry eligible).
  • Must maintain the required hours of continued medical education.
  • Must meet all Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) criteria, as well as other regulatory agencies.
