Job Summary

The Kettle Moraine YMCA is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Sports Instructor to join our team. As a Youth Sports Instructor, you will be responsible for assisting and leading our youth sports programs, providing a safe and engaging environment for children to learn and develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist and lead youth sports programs, including setup and cleanup of equipment and fields.
  • Transport participants to offsite programming as needed.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and report any concerns or issues to the Youth Sports Director.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for all participants.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Youth Sports Director.
Requirements
  • Minimum 15 years of age.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Previous experience in sports or working with children preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to interact with children at their cognitive level.
Qualifications
  • Bloodborne Pathogens/Child Abuse Prevention certification.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds.
  • Stand, run, kick, throw, bend, and catch.
  • Work in a moderate noise level environment.
