REPORTS TO: Executive Housekeeper

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Thoroughly clean bathrooms, including tubs, toilets, sinks, and mirrors, utilizing appropriate cleaning tools and agents while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Follow established cleaning procedures and guidelines for the effective use of cleaning products.
  • Strip and remake beds, changing linens, which may involve lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Dust and polish all surfaces, including furniture, artwork, and shelves, ensuring a pristine environment.
  • Operate vacuum cleaners throughout guest rooms and dispose of waste properly.
  • Restock amenities, linens, and supplies in guest rooms to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Manage room keys responsibly, transporting them to designated areas and ensuring proper inventory of cleaning supplies.
  • Maintain regular attendance and be available for scheduled shifts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Proficiency in English communication is essential. A self-motivated individual with a positive attitude is preferred. Professional appearance and demeanor are required at all times. Ability to work collaboratively with team members and assist colleagues as needed. Familiarity with cleaning agents and equipment operation is advantageous. Capability to maneuver equipment weighing up to 100 lbs. Ability to perform cleaning tasks that require reaching and working in tight spaces.

Safety & Security:

The safety and security of our guests and staff are of utmost importance. All associates must adhere to hotel security policies, particularly regarding key management, handling heavy items, and using cleaning chemicals safely. Reporting any safety hazards or concerns promptly is expected.
