Consultant Psychiatrist

As a seasoned mental health professional, we are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our esteemed team at TAG MedStaffing in Delaware County, PA. This part-time role offers an exceptional opportunity to provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and clinical consultation services to a select caseload of clients.
About the Opportunity:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for clients
- Provide expert medication management services, including prescribing and monitoring
- Offer clinical consultation and supervision to other healthcare professionals
- Participate in regular clinical client reviews to assess treatment progress
- Maintain high-quality and timely documentation of all client interactions and treatments
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Completed at least 3 years of residency in psychiatry
- Licensed to practice medicine in Pennsylvania
- Active DEA certification for prescribing Schedule II, III, IV, and V medications; Board Certification in Adult Psychiatry is mandatory
- Preferred: ASAM certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
