Job Title: Interventional Radiology Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Nurse to join our team at MedPro Healthcare Staffing. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and healthcare professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide critical nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. This will include preparing patients for procedures, administering medication, and monitoring patient vital signs during and after procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures
  • Administer medication, including moderate sedation
  • Monitor patient vital signs during and after procedures
  • Provide education to patients and family members
  • Insert and remove intravenous lines
  • Oversee the safety and comfort of patients before, during, and after procedures
Requirements
  • Active RN license
  • Degree from an accredited nursing program
  • BLS certifications
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in an interventional radiology setting
