Job Summary:

The EMT at Honor Community Health is a vital member of our healthcare team, providing direct and indirect patient care while assisting clinicians in delivering evidence-based medical care. This non-exempt position reports to the Lead Medical Assistant, Practice Manager, or Director of Health Center Operations, depending on the location.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect patient care, including assisting clinicians in delivering medical care.
  • Complete general office duties and patient records.
  • Monitor various clinical processes.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, creating an excellent patient experience.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience cleaning office space.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of general principles of medicine, derived from EMT or paramedic training.
  • Certification and state license required.
  • BLS Certified through American Heart Association.
  • 6+ months in a similar clinical position.
  • Strong computer skills, including Electronic Health Record (NextGen preferred) and Microsoft Office.
