Job Overview:
The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking applications for part-time Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Adjunct Faculty. This role is vital for the educational development of students in the technical fields of HVAC. The position is appointed on a course-by-course basis as required, and faculty members are expected to stay updated in their teaching areas and the evolving landscape of community college education.

Application Process:
Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis. The review of applications will take place as the need for adjunct faculty arises, continuing until all positions are filled.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma with a minimum of five years of relevant occupational experience in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Heating and Ventilation.
- Possession of EPA 608 Universal certification.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Formal education from a recognized certificate or degree program in HVAC or completion of an accredited apprenticeship.
- Additional nationally recognized industry certifications are advantageous.

Skills Required:
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to create syllabi and assessments.
- Proficiency in developing learning strategies and curriculum tailored to diverse student needs.
