Position Overview

Cross Country Allied is actively seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist for a travel role. This position focuses on providing essential therapy services to children and adolescents facing speech and language challenges.

Job Duties

As a Speech Language Pathologist, your primary responsibility will be to assist young patients in overcoming difficulties related to swallowing, communication, and comprehension. You will work in various healthcare settings, including pediatric hospitals and outpatient facilities. Your tasks will include:

  • Reviewing patient medical histories
  • Creating and executing individualized speech therapy plans
  • Recommending necessary therapeutic equipment
  • Monitoring and documenting patient progress

This role is vital in helping children regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of recent experience in a pediatric therapy setting
  • Relevant degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • BLS Certification (AHA)
  • Current state licensure
