As a Medical Specialist, you will play a vital role in our healthcare team by examining tissues, bodily fluids, and organs to diagnose diseases.

Your expertise will be essential in providing critical information for patient care, treatment planning, and research.

About the Role:

Key responsibilities include analyzing tissue specimens using microscopy and advanced laboratory techniques, performing autopsies, and conducting a comprehensive range of tests on blood, body fluids, and other specimens.

You will collaborate with physicians in various specialties to ensure accurate diagnosis and develop effective treatment plans for patients.

Effective communication of pathology findings in written reports is crucial, as is staying current with the latest advancements in diagnostic techniques and pathology research.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications include an M.D. degree from an accredited medical school, board certification in Pathology by the American Board of Pathology (ABP), and a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in anatomic and/or clinical pathology.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and a commitment to accuracy are essential.

Additional Skills (desirable):

Fellowship training in a specific area of pathology, experience with digital pathology tools, and research experience and publications in peer-reviewed journals are desirable.
