Rate: $80/hour
Shift: Nights - 3 shifts of 12 hours, with weekends and holidays as required
The RN will be part of the Nursing Float Pool and will be required to float to all Medical-Surgical units as necessary. Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct and individualized nursing care based on scientific principles.
- Consulting and coordinating with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administering prescribed medications and monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educating patients regarding surgical procedures and post-treatment care.
- Recording medical information and vital signs accurately.
- Monitoring and adjusting specialized equipment used on patients.
- Initiating corrective actions in response to adverse symptoms.
- Providing bedside care for a diverse range of medical patients.
- Participating in discharge planning and patient education.
- Documenting all care information concisely and accurately.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Note: This facility is a nicotine-free environment. Candidates with a history of license suspension will not be considered. All time-off requests must be included in the submission. Candidates who have been employed as permanent hires at any affiliated site within the past year are not eligible. Compliance with flu vaccination requirements is mandatory during the specified season.
