As a key member of the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice, you will play a vital role in shaping the academic experience of our students and contributing to the university's mission of Christian higher education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and mentor undergraduate students in sociology courses, including race and ethnicity, social problems, social thought, introduction to sociology, and urban sociology.
  • Develop and maintain an active research agenda, with a focus on publishing scholarly work and engaging in community-based research.
  • Advise and mentor students, providing guidance on academic and professional development.
  • Participate in departmental and university-wide service, including committee work and community engagement.
Requirements
