Position Summary:
As a Pantry Cook, you will be accountable for your designated station. This includes preparing for and executing service by cooking and assembling dishes according to established recipes and standards. You will also ensure a clean and sanitary workspace and complete a thorough breakdown of your station at the end of your shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and stock food items and essential supplies.
- Prepare dishes using various cooking techniques according to specified recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety regulations by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage and labeling.
- Clean and sanitize cooking surfaces throughout your shift.
- Conduct inventory checks and communicate with chefs regarding stock levels.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work atmosphere for all team members.
- Collaborative team player.
- Proficient knife skills.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs or more.
