Job Summary

The CT Technologist is a vital member of our team, responsible for ensuring patient safety and delivering high-quality CT studies. This role requires effective communication with customers, including radiologists, to provide exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure patient safety by pre-screening for contraindications to radiation and contrast injections, and using aseptic injection techniques.
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images that meet the highest standards.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and radiologists to ensure seamless care.
  • Train new technologists and patient coordinators to maintain a high level of expertise.
  • Troubleshoot scanner and peripheral equipment issues to minimize downtime.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience; Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Registered Computed Tomography Technologist by the ARRT.
  • State license; certification by the NMTCB in Computed Tomography acceptable in lieu of ARRT registry.
  • Licensed in Medical Imaging, if applicable.
  • CPR certification.
  • Active State Drivers License.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs.
Physical Demands
  • The employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions during patient transport.
  • May be exposed to blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
