About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Greenbush Logistics, Inc. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining and repairing diesel engines, trucks, and trailers, including company-owned Kenworth, Freightliner, Volvo, and Mack trucks, as well as Hyundai and Linde lift trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze complex problems and interpret technical information to make required repairs and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs on production machinery and facility support equipment.
  • Inspect, operate, and test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions and validate work performed.
  • Ensure safety by following all company policies, including safety rules, procedures, and Lock-out / Tag-out procedures.
  • Complete all assigned work orders within the allotted time and maintain complete records of work performed using software, work orders, and detailed logs.
Requirements
  • Two or more years of tractor/trailer/forklift mechanical experience (required).
  • At least one year of diesel engine repair experience preferred.
  • At least one year of mechanical knowledge preferred.
