Job Summary

The Convention Banquet Server is a key member of our team, responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests and ensuring the smooth execution of events at Lakeside Hotel Casino.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide top-notch service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Set up, serve, and clear events functions, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Read and understand Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to ensure accurate setup and service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with the culinary team to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
  • Address guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Perform opening and closing side duties, including cleaning function rooms and back-of-house areas.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to serve alcoholic beverages.
