Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Peterson Consulting Group, Inc. as a key member of our Executive Recruiting Firm for the Construction Industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project planning and management, with experience in highway and public works projects. They will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Assist with on-site management to ensure project success, set project timeline, and ensure the project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines.
  • Project Coordination: Responsible for RFI and submittal process, monitor project deliverables, and update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress.
  • Team Management: Coach and support project team members with tasks assigned to them.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Project Engineer or PM on highway and/or public works projects.
  • Skills: Strong experience in Excel, Bluebeam, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite, strong business acumen in project planning and management, and strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
