Role Overview

As a member of the systems engineering team at Apple, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and ambitious problems related to power architecture and optimization for wireless modems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define system level requirements and propose innovative ideas for power architecture and optimization.
  • Work closely with product teams to drive cellular modem power requirements and analysis of system level use-cases for power optimized operation.
  • Contribute to system design and power architecture in cellular modem, including study and analysis of post-Silicon power data and waveforms.
  • Participate in modem power measurement and optimization, and work cross-functionally to drive the product to commercialization meeting set power goals.
Requirements
  • BS and 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working with power optimization and power projection tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with different teams to deliver power optimizations that will help achieve best-in-class modem targets.
  • Knowledge in wireless systems, algorithms, optimization, automation, power measurement, and modem architecture.
What We Offer

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
