About the JobThis 26-week contract offers a competitive salary of approximately $1500 per week, based on 48 hours per week and 12-hour shifts. The role involves working as a Telemetry specialist in a Medical Surgical Unit - G5 setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing high-quality patient care as a Telemetry specialist
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient management
- Operating cardiac drips, insulin drips, and heparin drips
- Caring for tracheostomy patients and managing chest tubes
- Maintaining general medical-surgical skills, including wound care and IV starts
Requirements:
- A valid ME license
- At least one year of experience in a similar setting
- BLS certification
- Nihss preferred, Ekg interpretation/ACLS also preferred
- Prior charge experience is highly valued
