About the Position:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at TravelNurseSource. As a PACU/Pre-Post Op RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a talented team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the PACU/Pre-Post Op department, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
- 2 years of recent experience in the PACU/Pre-Post Op department.
- Valid license and/or certification in the state of practice, if applicable.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism during stressful situations.
- Valid Driver's License.
