Join Our Team as a Wellness Nurse

The Bungalows at Jonesboro is actively looking for a dedicated Wellness Nurse to enhance our team.

Position Overview:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will report directly to the Wellness Director and play a vital role in our residents' health and wellbeing.

Shift Information:

We offer 12-hour shifts across Days, Evenings, and Overnights.

Employment Types:

Both Full-Time and PRN positions are available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assess the health needs of residents through the Personalized Service Plan (PSP) process.
  • Document and follow up on any changes in residents' clinical care requirements.
  • Assist the Wellness Director in completing clinical sections of monthly wellness visits and PSPs.
  • Communicate any changes in medication or service levels to the Wellness Director or Executive Director.
  • Conduct monthly assessments, including weights and vital signs, for each resident.
  • Provide direct care to residents as needed.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must:

  • Hold a valid Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse license.
  • Have at least one year of experience working with elderly or disabled individuals, preferably.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills.
  • Possess knowledge and experience in the Assisted Living sector, Dementia care, or Skilled Nursing.
  • Be available to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours to meet the needs of our residents.
