Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Unit. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient's vital signs, medication, and treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and unit performance.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
- Two (2) years of critical care experience, with a strong background in assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking.
- Current ACLS/BLS certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare technologies.
- Certification in a critical care specialty, such as CCRN or PCCN.
