We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to lead our Internal Medicine team at IHC Health Services, Inc.
Key Responsibilities
As a Medical Director, you will be responsible for providing physician leadership and direction to our Internal Medicine team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and advancing the capabilities of our clinicians.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- MD or DO degree and current board certification in Internal Medicine
- Current Medical licensure
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Extensive medical practice experience and excellent leadership skills
- Sound understanding of modern health care economics and knowledge of financial principles
- Demonstrated commitment to the fundamentals of extraordinary care; safety, quality, patient experience, access, and stewardship
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, experience in medical leadership, physician governance, and managed care would be beneficial in this role.
