Inspector Packer

As a key member of our team at Jabil, you will be responsible for manually inspecting completed plastics parts and packing them into boxes for shipping. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. In-process inspection: Conduct thorough visual examinations of products to ensure they meet quality standards.
2. Record data: Accurately document any issues or concerns related to product quality or performance.
3. Packing: Prepare products for shipping by transferring them from catch bins or boxes into shipping containers, weighing, labeling, and stacking finished product correctly on pallets.
4. Maintain work area: Keep production and packing areas clean and organized, including sweeping floors, picking up stray molded parts, and cleaning up spills and leaks.
5. Sort and rework: Identify and sort non-conforming products, properly documenting and labeling them for further action.
6. Foster teamwork: Develop and maintain good working relationships with all departments to ensure smooth operations.
Knowledge Requirements
1. Average or better math skills.
2. Ability to spend long hours walking and standing.
3. Good color perception and manual dexterity.
4. Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs.
5. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
