Key Responsibilities:- Receive referrals and perform assessments for children
- Draft comprehensive reports, analyze evaluations, and create Individualized Educational Programs
- Facilitate therapy sessions for students, either in individual or group settings
- Engage regularly with parents to review student progress and reassess requirements
- Collaborate effectively with parents, caregivers, educators, and school administrators
- Partner with program staff to develop impactful curricula
- Recommend modifications to the environment to improve student learning outcomes
Ideal Candidate Qualities:
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Organizational skills for managing classroom procedures and documentation related to speech and language services
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current Georgia SLP license
- SLP certification from the Georgia Public Service Commission (may be necessary)
