Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Home Health Care Specialist

Location: Ebervale, Pennsylvania

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Ebervale, Pennsylvania. As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing rehabilitation care and skilled nursing to clients in their homes.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy, with a minimum of one year of recent work experience. You will be responsible for making home visits, conducting thorough evaluations of patients' functional status, and developing individualized intervention plans to achieve favorable outcomes.

As a member of our multidisciplinary health care team, you will work closely with nursing and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to our clients. You will also be responsible for educating and instructing patients, family members, or other patient representatives in rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote the client's health, safety, and independent living.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A current PA Occupational Therapist license
• Prior home care experience preferred, but not required
• A minimum of one year of recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Graduation from an occupational therapy program accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills
• Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
