As a Registered Nurse in the Float Pool, you will provide comprehensive nursing care across various departments, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of patient care. This role is vital in supporting the nursing teams throughout the facility, particularly in Medical/Surgical and Progressive Care settings.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and ensure quality care.
3. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records.
4. Educate patients and their families on health management and care plans.
5. Demonstrate leadership and mentorship within the nursing practice.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program with an associate degree or higher.
- Active RN license in the State of Michigan.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification; additional certifications may be required based on department needs.
