About the Role

The Part-time Design Consultant is a key member of our team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth through expert custom space design solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain multiple customer projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate completion with consistent communication.
  • Collaborate with customers to design and present customized plans, showcasing our products and services in a clear and professional manner.
  • Closing sales efficiently, building repeat and referral business through strong relationships and effective communication.
  • Maintain clear communication with managers and support center partners to ensure seamless project completion and achieve sales goals.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, driving company initiatives and modeling professional behaviors to achieve store and organizational goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with company training, selling, product knowledge, promotions, processes, and philosophies when interacting with customers, colleagues, and installation teams.
  • Utilize company tools and email proficiently and consistently.
  • Participate in daily maintenance of custom spaces showroom and visual presentation of the store.
  • Handle cash and other valuables securely and maintain a safe working and shopping environment.
  • Assist customers with confidential information related to company credit cards and applications.
  • Arrive promptly to work and maintain discretion related to confidential/sensitive company and customer information.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A college degree
  • 2-5 years of sales and client experience
  • A professional appearance and adherence to our dress code
  • Knowledge and passion for following trends in custom spaces and retail
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Word, and knowledge of Excel and Salesforce or Customer Relations Management tools
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner
  • Flexibility to work scheduled hours and adapt to changing business needs
  • Effective communication and time management skills
  • A positive attitude and passion for knowledge
