Job Overview

ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to join our team in a part-time contract position. As a School Psychologist, you will provide essential support for students K-12, helping them with their mental health, education, and learning through assessments, IEPs, and evaluations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all student initial and re-evaluations, including student testing
  • Provide individual and group counseling to elementary students dealing with emotional, behavioral, or social issues
  • Develop and implement crisis intervention strategies and provide immediate support during emergencies
  • Work with students, families, and school staff to address and resolve conflicts and behavioral concerns
Qualifications
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Michigan
Experience
  • Previous experience working as a School Psychologist is preferred
  • Experience with diverse populations and a variety of psychological assessments and interventions
Skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of current best practices in school psychology, mental health, and education
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain required clearances
  • Proficiency in using assessment tools and technology related to psychology and education
Benefits
  • Weekly Pay
  • $44-$49 hourly rate. Pay dependent on experience and school district budget
