Job Summary:
Health Advocates Network-Allied is seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Specialist to join our team. As a Catheterization Laboratory Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and technical expertise in a fast-paced cath lab environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cath lab, including coronary and peripheral angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
- Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including angiography machines and fluoroscopy systems.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Provide exceptional patient care and education, including pre-procedure preparation and post-procedure follow-up.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience as a Catheterization Laboratory Specialist or equivalent.
- Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
