Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will perform procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and standards, operate CT scanners, and associated equipment with high proficiency.


Key Responsibilities
  • Verify patient orders and requests before proceeding with procedures.
  • Properly identify patients using two identifiers and offer clear explanations of procedures.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including administering IV contrast when required.
  • Evaluate image quality and consult with Radiologists as needed.
  • Perform basic patient care functions, inform nursing staff of changes in patient condition, and initiate life support measures when necessary.
  • Operate radiology computer systems, enter orders, and charge procedures/supplies.

Qualifications

Applicants must have a graduate degree from an accredited AMA program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology. ARRT certification in Radiology, NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine, and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT scanning within one year of hire are also required.
