Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Blake Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select and operate the appropriate technical factors for CT examinations, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
  • Prepare and position patients for CT scans, maintaining a safe and respectful environment.
  • Document all relevant clinical information, obtain informed consent, and complete required fields in our electronic medical record system.
  • Remain up-to-date with changes in the field, attending courses or seminars as necessary to maintain proficiency in executing software protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
Requirements
  • Completion of a 24-month program in Radiologic Technology at an accredited institution.
  • ARRT (CT) certification (preferred).
  • Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and/or lifting of patients/equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years current/recent experience in diagnostic radiology, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting.
