Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Serdes System Validation Engineer to join our team at Apple. As a key member of our Analog-Mixed/Signal design team, you will be responsible for leading the validation and debug of embedded circuits, collaborating with various disciplines to enable the world's premiere products.

You will work closely with a talented group of Analog-Mixed/Signal designers to deliver high-quality hard IPs to Apple's products, exceeding the highest expectations of quality, innovation, and efficiency.

As a Senior Serdes System Validation Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on upcoming products that will surprise and delight millions of Apple's customers every day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the validation and debug of embedded circuits
  • Collaborate with various disciplines to enable the world's premiere products
  • Work closely with Analog-Mixed/Signal designers to deliver high-quality hard IPs
  • Develop and implement effective validation strategies
  • Identify and resolve complex technical issues
Requirements
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in Serdes system validation
  • Strong knowledge of high-speed serial links and Serdes protocols
  • Experience with system bring-up, lab testing, and defining equipment needs
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, C, and Matlab
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with mixed-signal circuit pre-silicon verification
  • Knowledge of DFT and its application in system validation
  • Experience with silicon bring-up, debug, and production ramp
  • Knowledge of Serdes design and architecture, including CDR and equalization
