Position Overview:

The Southern Seven Health Department is looking for a dedicated and experienced Early Childhood Program Supervisor to join our team. This full-time role is pivotal in ensuring the effective management of our Early Learning Center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the center, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Supervise and support all staff members assigned to the site, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Coordinate and schedule staff to maintain appropriate classroom ratios and coverage.
  • Implement and manage staff activities, including orientation, supervision, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure that all children are under constant supervision and that their safety is prioritized.
  • Review and approve all time and travel documentation, as well as manage leave requests.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all required reports and documentation for the Administrative Office.
  • Participate in the hiring process for new staff, conducting interviews and coordinating with the management team.
  • Assist educational staff in classrooms as necessary, providing support where needed.
  • Maintain accurate records for all employees and monitor site inventory for materials and supplies.
  • Conduct monthly staff meetings to encourage open communication and staff involvement in decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Parent Coordinators to organize parent engagement activities and meetings.

This position may involve additional responsibilities as assigned to fulfill the objectives of the Early Head Start program.
