Ski Instructor

Job Summary:

As a Non-Certified Ski or Snowboard Instructor with Vail Resorts, you will have the opportunity to deliver exceptional ski and snowboard instruction to guests of all ages. Your primary focus will be on creating a safe and fun learning environment, while providing world-class guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach group and private lessons to guests of all ages, with a focus on children.
• Work with guests to create a personalized learning experience, tailored to their needs and skill level.
• Deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring that every guest feels valued and supported throughout their lesson.
• Support the snow sports school by assisting with tasks such as scanning, running surface lifts, and facilitating lunch.
• Provide feedback to guests that inspires and motivates them to continue improving their skiing or snowboarding skills.

Requirements:

• Must be comfortable and competent skiing and riding on groomed blue terrain.
• Must be willing to work with guests of all ages and have a strong level of comfort with children aged 3 and older.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be comfortable being in ski boots for extended periods of time.

The successful candidate will be required to complete training and meet the minimum skill, guest service, and safety standards set by Vail Resorts. Additionally, a background check clearance by the State of Pennsylvania will be required before commencing work.
