About the Role:

The Registered Nurse First Assistant is a key member of our Perioperative team, working closely with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Provide patient care by circulating or scrubbing surgical procedures as needed
• Work under the direction of the surgeon during the assisting phase and until conclusion of the operative procedure
• Support the medical staff as an allied health provider

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year recent acute care Registered Nurse experience required
• Must have and maintain CNOR certification
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of California (or ability to obtain)
• Must have and maintain current BLS card, required
• ACLS and PALS certification required for experienced Emergency department nurses
