Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in high-level collaboration with partners to support individuals in their journey towards competitive integrated employment.
  • Assist job seekers in establishing employment objectives and guide them in securing and maintaining meaningful job placements.
  • Implement the principles of the Competitive Integrated Employment Services model to help individuals stabilize their employment and achieve successful outcomes.
  • Provide tailored support based on each individual's Career Plan, focusing on their unique interests, skills, and needs.

Additional Duties:

  • Work alongside MassAbility and the Department of Transitional Assistance to assess individuals' employment and educational goals.
  • Evaluate vocational readiness by facilitating the development of essential skills, including job application completion, resume crafting, and interview preparation.
  • Represent Open Sky in discussions with funding bodies regarding employment support for individuals.
  • Assist individuals in navigating their benefits, such as SSI and SSDI, and clarify how these may influence their employment opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or a related field is highly preferred.
  • A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record and reliable transportation is necessary.
  • A minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities, including those facing behavioral health challenges, is required.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively managing time and tasks is essential.
  • Comfortable using technology for documentation and organizational purposes.
