Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver professional nursing care to patients using the nursing process. This includes collaborating with healthcare team members, including physicians, to ensure high-quality patient care.
Qualifications Required:
- Current Registered Nursing License in Texas or a Compact state.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Associate degree or diploma in Nursing is required.
Skills and Competencies:
- Experience in Medical/Surgical Nursing is preferred.
- Medical Surgical ANCC Certification is preferred.
- Proficient in reading and writing basic English.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to listen and respond effectively to the needs of patients and families.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency.
This position requires full vaccination for COVID-19 in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is granted).
