About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at Barnes & Noble. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating exceptional customer experiences by crafting high-quality beverages and providing top-notch service.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, building rapport, and listening to their needs.
• Prepare and serve a variety of handcrafted beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide a welcoming environment for customers.
• Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and make recommendations to customers based on their preferences.

Requirements

• Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
