We are seeking an Audiologist to join our team in Anaheim, California. As an essential member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in providing expert hearing healthcare services to adults and children.

About the Role:

The Audiologist position at Kaiser Permanente offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting diagnostic evaluations, counseling patients on therapeutic plans, and providing mobile diagnostic services for inpatients and ICU patients.

You will also be responsible for evaluating and assessing hearing aid requirements, maintaining accurate records, and performing daily equipment calibrations. Additionally, you will instruct monthly patient education classes and assist families with placement into suitable educational settings for hearing-impaired children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Select, perform, and interpret diagnostic test data for pediatric and geriatric populations, vestibular function, and facial nerve integrity.
  • Counsel patients on future therapeutic plans and provide mobile diagnostic services for inpatients, ICU, NICU, and operative patients.
  • Evaluate and assess hearing aid requirements and maintain accurate records in patient medical charts and department-based files.
  • Perform daily equipment biological calibrations, maintenance, and request repairs as needed.
  • Instruct monthly patient education classes and assist families with placement into suitable educational settings for hearing-impaired children.
  • Serve as a resource for hearing and vestibular assessment (and rehabilitation) to physicians, paraprofessionals, and patients regarding hearing health diagnostics and care.

Benefits and Requirements:

  • Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
  • Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in Audiology required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Audiologist License (California); Basic Life Support certification required at hire; National Provider Identifier required at hire.
