Job Summary:

To maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in a healthcare setting, ensuring the well-being of patients, staff, and visitors. This role involves performing various cleaning and sanitizing tasks, as well as maintaining equipment and supplies. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize patient care areas, including inpatient rooms, bathrooms, and hallways, using proper policies and procedures.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies, including cleaning and polishing sinks, commodes, and fixtures.
  • Check and restock supplies, such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper.
  • Clean floors, including dry and damp mopping, vacuuming, and buffing.
  • Remove trash and biohazard waste from areas and dispose of properly.
  • Deliver clean linen and remove soiled linens from areas.


Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous healthcare experience preferred, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

This role is based in a healthcare setting, with a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting, with minimal supervision, and be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
