About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at DeMay Living Center, a 180-bed skilled nursing facility in Newark, NY. As an LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care to long-term and post-acute care residents, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Supervise and mentor Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure high-quality care and promote a positive work environment.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, using computerized medical records.
Requirements
  • Current LPN licensure in New York State.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
