We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our growing behavioral health program. This provider will provide therapeutic interventions, counseling, and support to clients with diverse backgrounds facing a wide range of mental health challenges.

The LMHC or LCSW, under the supervision of the Physician(s) who acts as the collaborative practitioner(s), is responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs
  • Providing psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups using evidence-based therapeutic modalities
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary team (primary care, psychiatrist, other team members) to ensure coordinated care and treatment continuity
  • Advocating for clients' rights and access to resources, facilitating referrals to community sources and support services as needed
  • Documenting in a timely and thorough manner

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with care team
  • Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and professional integrity
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong medical decision-making skills
  • Displaying a caring and professional attitude at all times

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or Mental Health Counseling (LMHC)

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, REGISTRATION:

  • Current, valid Florida LCSW or LMHC license
  • BLS
  • DEA License
